Collecting SoHo Walk
Public walk, 90-minutes, participant collection of artifacts and participant photographs of weeds
The walk through SoHo explored natural and historical moments hidden, quite literally, in the cracks of the neighborhood. In a short time walkers built a collection of artifacts from Wooster Street, cleaned a local landmark, paid homage to a living legend and experienced this normally busy commercial district in an entirely new way. Along the way we said good-bye to the subtle remains of old SoHo that will be razed and renovated in the next few years. The walk was held in conjunction with Local Expeditions, a solo show at Third Streaming Gallery on Greene Street.
